Plasma

It looks beautiful, but it can be deadly.

Plasma Generation/Emission is the ability to, as you would expect, generate plasma. Plasma is an energy type that is more a conglomerate of other energies working in concert. Plasma is a kinetic base. Mainly using raw force impact to strike a target the same as kinetic bolts or properly used telekinesis. However it is considered another energy type because the energy is unstable, bringing out side affects that CAN cause extra damage, but mostly are not dangerous in their own right. Almost always the plasma glows when used, meaning it provides some illumination. Examples below are of side effects known to occur, though it may not be a full list. Any energy type can be a secondary, but it wont have nearly the power the kinetic impact does.

Heat: Along with the kinetic impact the plasma is super heated. Those with strong use of this ability may be able to reach temperatures that can melt metal, but they wouldn't have to as the kinetic impact by that pound would rip it to shreds on it's own. Those with this could use practical demonstrations of their ability to heat the area around them, but the heat alone wouldn't be a formidable weapon against anyone who wasn't a weak ice generator.

Electricity: Some plasma generators have an electrical side effect that, while not generally lethal on it's own, packs a nasty shock when combined with the physical impact. Still it could be used practically on physical contact to overload or charge batteries or as small bolts aimed at nearby targets. While not the most devastating, it could certainly be the most useful.

Radiation: This is the more sinister side effect, however it has it's redeeming qualities. Because of the controlled nature of the plasma beams fired, the radiation doesn't spread and contaminate like true radiation emission. However it can cause exposure sickness, and even set off alarms. With concentration and dedicated time to a single person the side effect alone could could radiation overload similar to that of the core power it's self, however you'd need to be close by the whole time.
